Artist Statement

Ivona Vojvodić's works reflect on an individual's view of the world and on the dynamics of life through elements that invite action and release from obstacles. In illusionistic works, which are central to her practice, she examines how lived moments shape inner states and influence behavior. Viewers often recognize figures, forms, and motifs moving freely across the surface, while optical illusion opens space for slower, contemplative observation. The goal is for each viewer to find a brief moment of peace and to see everyday life from a new perspective.

Biography

Ivona Vojvodić was born on May 17, 2002, in Vinkovci. She graduated from Ivan Domac School of Economics and Trade in Vinkovci. After high school, she enrolled at the Academy of Arts and Culture in Osijek, where she graduated the Art Education program at the Department of Visual and Media Arts.
